Self Portrait

This was a real fun challenge.
Even if it did take all weekend and send me crazy.
If you close one eye and really blur the other (!!) you can see that it really is a grinning me!

Vintage Valentines 2

This card would have been handmade and sent from the lady to her man.
She has 'chosen' him over the others, telling him this by simply writing 'Preference' on the inside.

Vintage Valentines 1

I love giving my wife antique cards for Valentines, this one is from the early 1900.
It translates (roughly) as:

"I die or I stick,
A kiss, it is a pleasure.
It is a whole happiness
It is the unquestionable pledge,
The bond of our hearts"

Message for Valentines 4

This weird image popped into my head the other day.
My wife was slightly alarmed that she'd been confined to a bottle and was part of an experiment to extract her goddess qualities. And all for money too!
I told her it was romantic.
I thought it wise not to draw a bunsen burner underneath her.
