Being a Londoner I'm really excited about the Olympics being hosted in this wonderful city of mine. Here's the well known Olympic symbol sleepingcities style...
Couldn't believe it's been sooo long since I last posted. For that I
apologise. What have I been doing with my time? A few little projects
have been undertaken. One being my stain glass window. Sleepingcities
style of course...
I've been doing the odd commission too...
And I finally got round to doing some of the mural.
This drawing on walls is a whole new ball game.
It's been lots of fun so far, a few challenges
and aching bones (having to draw whilst lying on the floor is real tricky).
I'm still undecided what to do the the upper section, so I'm leaving it for now.
Maybe I'll add some words?
In the meantime I still have all the detail and the brilliant orange to add...
Now I've completed my 100th Facebook Doodle, I thought it time I go back to my drawing my cities. I needed a new challenge and this white wall seems the perfect canvas.
It's early stages but already it's taking shape. Haven't quite decided how it's going to finish up, but there's plenty of drawing to do in the meantime....
I've been very neglectful of late.
Little did I realise how my Daily Doodle would take over my drawing life.
I guess with putting the word 'Daily' in the title I should have known.
It also occured to me that not everyone wants to use Facebook.
So for you, I thought I'd share some of my Doodles.
Couldn't believe when I found an old sketchbook, that it was 3 years ago today that Sleepingcities was born. Check the bottom of the last picture for the date.
I hadn't really drawn much until then, but the Marrakesh skyline possessed me from the start and I guess, still possesses me to this day.
